28/06/2006 - France - Ameilie et le Cirque Ullman

Amelie, now aged 7, was born into a travelling family circus which I first met and started photographing 6 years ago whilst visiting my wife's home in France. I try and catch up with them at least once a year and see what they are up to. Every year the headcount expands as Walter and his wife Lolo add to the Ullman clan, with Lolo this year expecting her 7th child. It's a very hard life they, and the animals have, performing for 10 out of 12 months of the year, sometimes up to 3 shows a day.
