GLASGOW, SCOTLAND – 09 APRIL 2006: Glasgow Royal Infirmary Accident & Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the United Kingdom in terms of the volume of violent trauma they treat. A young man who was stabbed during a gang fight outside a nightclub in Maryhill. Ordinarily the man would have been taken to the Western Hospital in the West end of the city, however opposing gang members had also been stabbed and they had to be taken to separate hospitals due to fears of further violence. 09 April 2006 (Photo by David Gillanders)
