As hinted in my last post – I’ve been making changes, and it feels good! 🙂
I’m delighted to announce and launch a brand new website which integrates my blog, pictures, films and books I’ve not even made yet – it’s amazing!! Most importantly this new site provides me with the ability to manage and upload photo essays myself. I’m launching the site with my best known work and a few new additions with the aim of adding regular updates until my sons kick me off the computer to play minecraft.
I’d really like to thank Katri Walker for all her hard work in making the site work – it’s been ambitious and not without problems. If anyone is looking for a web designer I couldn’t recommend Katri highly enough.
One other important feature of the new site is the linking to my on-line archive at Photoshelter. Also an ongoing work in progress Photoshelter enables me to market and sell photography and prints whilst sleeping – awesome! 🙂
I’m also hoping shortly to be announcing a series of photography workshops I’ll be teaching next year. If anyone out there is interested in the following please get in touch: –
1. Wet Plate Collodion Workshop. Weekend course with class size of 6 students maximum. I’m also happy to provide one to one tuition on this.
2. Introduction to black and white film, processing film and making a contact prints. (class size restricted to 2 students).
3. Traditional black and white silver gelatin archival darkroom printing. (class size limited to 2 students).
OK, that’s all for now – I hope you enjoy the new site and features that are there now. As and when I add new content I’ll let you all know.
Cheers! DG
