Thanks so, so much for all the amazing messages about my film last night! I can’t quite explain how magical it has been to get so much feedback from friends and strangers alike!
I want also to thank the people in the film. It’s such a big ask to make a film about someone. Without the bravery of Joyce, Dean, Joe, Suzy, Jimmy, Chloe, Berry, Cal, Hanna, Candice, Davey, Alastair, Michael, John, Stef…..and everyone else – there would be no film. Thank you all for letting me into your lives!
The photography workshops with the young team in Cranhill will be ongoing next year – and I’m hoping the lovely Annie Brown at the Daily Record will run a wee piece about their work before the new year – I’ll let you know!
Anyway – I want to broaden the workshops out a bit and I’m here just now asking if you might be able to help. Can you spare one hour to come and inspire a group of young people?
Doesn’t need to be photography related – so far I have a few photographers lined up – thanks to Robert Perry, Stuart Wallace and Wattie Cheung. I’ve also got some guitar legends from Guitar Guitar lined up and my mate John Campbell who is doing a young persons Dragons Den initiative which is amazing. What can you do? Come and help out – get involved.
Hugging trees is optional – but recommended 🙂
Thanks!
